Time + Place is a an exhibition that opened in July of 2019 in The Walters Art Museum’s historic house, 1 West Mount Vernon Place, also known as Hackerman House. The exhibition pairs artists Jay Gould and Antonio McAfee. McAfee’s installation uses photographs from W.E.B. DuBois’ Exhibit of American Negroes (1900). Gould uses 19th century technology to create tintype and ambrotype photography of present day Baltimoreans.

I worked with the artists and curator to create a layout that worked within the space and allowed for interesting dialogue between the works. I worked with Collections to create a mounting system that was appropriate for the space and avoided damaging the walls of the historic house. I also directed the creation and installation of the title wall for the space.
